The programme:
At Camp Gan Israel the children are offered a mix of sports, crafts, music, group games, baking, swimming and lots of trips. Our goal is to give the children a healthy dose of Jewish pride in a fun, social, active environment. The children who participate are from across the spectrum of the Jewish / Israeli world with some children engaging in Jewish activities for the first time at camp without any previous knowledge.
Simply put, Camp Gan Israel is a place where Jewish kids are happier and happy kids are Jewisher.

How it all started:
Camp Gan Israel has hundreds of chapters round the world with tens of thousands of campers and is now back in Cambridge for the fourth time. This project is the outcome of a conversation with the much loved Noga Sella and Rochel Leigh one spring afternoon in Histon Road Park. Noga was wishing there was a fun Jewish social opportunity for children in Cambridge over the summer and the idea was born. That was the last conversation Rochel had with Noga and the camp is dedicated to Noga's memory.
